APD contributes to educational development in Galicia implementing digital classrooms.

October, 2015

In recent years, thanks to the introduction of the Information and Communication technologies in the schools, newer and more powerful tools are enhancing the didactic experience. The Interactive Whiteboards (IWB) represent a good example of this trend.

APD, as a pioneer in these new technologies, offers cutting-edge solutions to update the educational ecosystem, given their positive impact on the teaching staff and the students.

Before the end of 2015, APD will supply more than 4000 kits to reconvert the old classrooms into digital classrooms in the state schools funded by the Department of Culture, Education and University Planning of the Xunta of Galicia.

This digital kit is composed of an Interactive Whiteboard, a projector and a multimedia connections box to expand the interaction with multiple computer means.

This implementation is part of the Abalar Project developed by this Department since 2010. The objective of this project consists on the integration of the ICT in the educational practice.
